I always laugh when people think I'm a great chef or baker, and that this comes naturally and easily to me. It doesn't. I can follow a recipe, but a gourmet chef that *does not* make. Case in point--my highly anticipated GF pineapple upside down cake.
I cooked it for the allotted time. Looked done, smelled done. But then I cut into it, and the entire thing collapsed in the center....

...and all of the sweet inards flowed out like a horrible cake volcano.

So I cut off a corner, added some ice-cream, and sat down to share my cake bomb with the world.
