SF and Pescadero

We've been taking advantage of the lovely weather here with a few day trips. We started in Pescaedro. Weather.com said it as 50 degrees and rainy, but we're not made of salt (ask Lance how many times he's heard this line from me) so we geared up and got moving.

There were no clouds to be seen. We stopped off to build castles and play in the surf. I foolishly hotstepped it up and down the beach. My calves are still burning. On the upside, I feel like my steps should count more.

We asked her what her favorite part of the day was, and she declared that it was when I dug a big hole for her to jump in. Mom of the year.

We stopped off at the aviary, and bought 3 carrots for a quarter to feed to the friendly donkey.

B cozied up in the old, rusty trailer. Thankfully, her tetanus shots are up to date.

I love this little old church

We also stopped off at the Arcangeli Grocery store, and Lance snatched up some of their famous artichoke bread. B rolled around in the grass, and chased off imaginary dogs.

We made it over to the coast, and B gave a friendly smile. She has such a tough life.

Next up--San Francisco. We parked under the GG bridge for a different vantage point. The day started out foggy and overcast, but as we moved along the waterfront, the fog burned off, and it ended up amazing!

Snuggin on Daddy

This is the first time we've ever gotten a family photo with the bridge in the back. B was very excited about checking out the bridge up close.

Here's hoping this fabulous weather  keeps up!

Is it really 50 degrees there? How does that constitute good weather? It was 64 degrees and windy the other day and I wanted to break out the parka!

No, it was 75 and amazing! Weather.com was totally wrong.
