Disney on Ice

Our trek out to the circus was a raging success, so I decided to re-create the magic with Disney on Ice. B is still a lap sitter, so we scored 2 cheap tix and headed downtown to party it up with Lancer. I had big plans for the evening. It was going to be like Disneyland 2.0!

B wore her ears, and clutched her Donald. She jabbered nonstop about the various Disney characters, and speculated who she would see. Mickey! Minnie! Donald! Goofy!

We waited patiently in the audience for the fun to start.

Princess Booger could hardly wait. She's a classy lil' gal!

The lights went down! The excitement was building. B was ready to have her mind blown!!

The skaters came out, and started with a montage of popular characters. It was all good and fun until Belle and the Beast came out. The Beast came thundering out, roaring, and gnashing his teeth.

Thanks, Disney.

The end.

One of your best posts ever. That last shot is the true money shot. You should send this to Disney and ask for a free D-Land ticket.

hilarious! i think the neighbors might have just heard me laughing.

it wouldn't be disney without something to scare the kids out of their wits. at least they didn't kill off nemo's mom in front of everyone...or did they?

I am still laughing at Princess Booger, hilarious! Disney is not for wimps, I can't believe how scary and ill advised (why are parents always dying??) some of them are! Hope she gave Donald a good snuggle!

Kaari, I'm not sure that I would ever use the phrase "waited patiently" to describe you. ;-)

But I'm hoping that B got over it to enjoy something of the rest of the show!

Um, no. I had to take her out twice, and every time the freaking castle door opened she screamed "No, Tiger! Go away! Goodbye!! Wah, wah, wah..."
