Happy. Birthday. To. Me.

Awww yeah!! Turning another year older has never been so awesome!

I joined my fellow early 30's/married housewives/crazy Blockheads in Fresno for another night of NKOTB fun. Don't worry, I twittered Donnie and told him I was on my way, and to keep an eye out for me. He obviously got it, because he let me get this close.

Yes, these are my real photos from last night. I can see Donnie's nose hair...not that he has any, because he's perfect.

Back to the beginning. Lancer grants me a silly birthday wish, and gets me floor seats to the Fresno show. I grab Asian Girl, and we make a roadtrip out of it.

The seats, of course, were killer. But the other fans were even better! I met a girl from Sacramento who is actually the same person as me. Her husband bought her tickets, too. What smart men we married!

K--after a few songs, they Kids were getting ready to head to the B stage--the other stage on the floor. You know, the one that spins while they sing "2 in the Morning" and "Tonight." The security guards come over and escort our row (SQUEEEAALLLL!!!) to the B stage. I am front and center, baby. Front and center. I touched all of the Kids....except Donnie. Tease.

My new friend--she's so crazy, she did NKOTB pumpkins on Halloween this year. See--same person!

The first person I get next to is Danny. Check out his killer arms!

Then my sister Eriika's husband Jordan

And then...Donnie. No words.

Joey Mac baby...I screamed really loud at him when he was in front of me, and he looked at me weird. I decided that this was kind of like a Meet and Greet, and I shouldn't scream when I'm 2 inches away. So I sang along instead. Until Donnie came around..then I screamed and lunged for his pantleg. No go.

If you click on this photo, I think you will agree that Donnie-D's right eye is looking at me as he drinks his Fiji.

Jordan at the piano

Donnie just hanging out on his awesome rotating stage...taking in all of the screaming ladies. And by screaming ladies, I mean me.

And poor, sick Jon. He had a bad cold. What a soldier.

The Kids all done, heading back to the A Stage. That was seriously the most fun I've had at a concert.

Me leaning on the railing. See how close I was?? AGHHHH!! So exciting. I ended up a hot mess. It was hot and crazy with hundreds of crazy ladies pushing on me!

One of the funniest moments was when this chick threw up a Cover Girl tank top. Joe started to throw it to Donnie, but the girl screamed that he should read the back. He flipped it over, and held it up for the crowd. This girl had written (in rhinestones, if I recall correctly) "New Kids--you are my one free pass!!" The crowd was laughing and screaming "you're my free pass too!" Joe told us this behavior was slippery ground, and that we were all bad girls. Funny stuff

At the end of the show, they blew a billion pieces of confetti onto the crowd. It was a fabulous ending to another great night with the boys.

Back to San Jose for us. We pulled in around 3:30 am. That was a serious drive, but worth it. See you boys in Concord!

Thanks to Lancer for the fab seats and fun! Yes, I know I'm crazy. All Blockheads are. It's fun to be with thousands of them at once. They are the only people who know why the word 'girl' still makes my heart flutter.

Happy Happy Birthday! What a crazy fun night! I read this whole thing with a smile on my face because even though NKOTB don't do it for me, I get the obsession. I'm so glad it was such a magical evening. You always make me laugh.

I love your picture of Donnie "just hanging out". It's so good! And the B Stage is so good! Saskatoon was my first time doing B Stage. It was scary and I thought I might get trampled, but totally worth it.

Happy birthday!

The funniest part about all this is you are dead serious and I know you had the TIME OF YOUR LIFE!!! That really does sound fun and I'm glad you had such a fun bday present!!! (I also think it's funny that Lance sent you instead of going with.)
